Our laboratories feature the latest scientific technologies, including a fully automated Affymetrix platform for microarray analysis, advanced sequencers from ABI, Illumina, and Beckman, a Pulse Field Gel Electrophoresis apparatus, ultracentrifuges, liquid handling platforms, as well as comprehensive cell culture and animal housing facilities.
Contract Research Services
Rx Biosciences offers a comprehensive range of custom antibody generation and modulation services. These include raising polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies using conventional methods, preparing scFv, Fab, nanobody, and IgNAR libraries in phage-display vectors, as well as antibody maturation, humanization, and assay development. In addition to phage display, we provide other display platforms such as bacterial, yeast, mRNA, and ribosomal display services.
Our expertise also extends to various cDNA and genomic library construction services, including libraries in phage display and BAC vectors. Furthermore, Rx Biosciences specializes in the production of bulk quantities of endotoxin-free, high-grade plasmid and viral DNA, ensuring the highest standards of quality for research and clinical applications.
ABOUT US
Your Partner in Gene Research
Rx Biosciences operates in the biotechnology corridor of Montgomery County, Maryland, USA, staying close to key clients and collaborators, including the NIH, NCI, USDA, DOD, and top universities and research institutions.
For over a decade, Rx Biosciences has led innovation by designing and developing cutting-edge modules and technologies that advance research in protein engineering and genetic recombination. Our team includes highly skilled professionals with diverse and deep research experience, promoting a culture of expertise and excellence.
Research and Development
Rx Biosciences advances scientific knowledge and innovation through active research. Our scientists investigate the genetic mechanisms behind the onset and progression of prostate cancer and leukemia. The National Cancer Institute (NCI) funds our work to identify clinically significant substrates for Pim-1 kinase, focusing on real-time substrate phosphorylation technology.
We also develop advanced gene silencing technologies to enable more controlled and guided suppression of target genes. This cutting-edge approach aims to outperform traditional siRNA-based methods in efficiency.
Product Development
Rx Biosciences is committed to the development, patenting, production, and marketing of innovative products that facilitate drug discovery and targeted delivery through ligands. Our ongoing efforts are focused on providing robust solutions to meet the evolving needs of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

Gregory J. Riggins
Professor of Neurosurgery and Oncology"We thank Rx Biosciences for preparing a great batch of cDNA and his persistence in getting it cloned."

Sigma Chemical Company
The team at Rx Biosciences is extremely knowledgeable and assists with genomics services from simple, to more complex R&D projects. Their expertise is very valuable, and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Areti Karadimos
Research Director, Bio S&TI contracted the construction of a metagenomic library from RxBiosciences. They provided a high quality library at a good price and with a quick turnaround time. Notably, they are able to make libraries with many more unique clones than I could find from other companies.
