Regular cDNA & EST
Rx Biosciences specializes in preparing regular cDNA and EST libraries from a broad spectrum of biological sources. These include bacteria, plants, sea animals, algae, fungi, cacti, nematodes, pathological tissues, and many other unique or rare organisms. This wide range of input sources makes our libraries highly versatile and valuable for researchers across various domains.
We have developed particular expertise in constructing regular cDNA and EST libraries from micro-quantities of total RNA. These are often extracted from challenging or limited sources, such as blood samples, laser-capture microdissected tissues, or single-cell isolates. Our experience with small, hard-to-obtain RNA samples allows us to maintain high-quality outputs, even when starting material is minimal.
These cDNA and EST libraries are well-suited for numerous downstream applications. They are ideal for generating Expressed Sequence Tag (EST) databases, enabling gene discovery, transcript profiling, and functional genomics studies. In addition, researchers frequently use these libraries for high-throughput screening, especially when exploring novel transcripts in non-model organisms or poorly characterized samples.
At Rx Biosciences, we tailor our approach to meet the unique requirements of each project. Whether the goal is expression profiling, differential gene analysis, or constructing a foundational EST resource, our team provides comprehensive support and technical excellence throughout the library construction process.
By ensuring representation of rare and abundant transcripts alike, we help our clients create accurate and meaningful libraries that power cutting-edge discoveries in molecular biology, biotechnology, and medical research.
