Our Approach

The high molecular weight genomic DNA, embedded in agarose beads, is digested with a restriction enzyme (HindIII, EcoRI, BamHI, Sau3A1, or ApoI) as part of the gDNA library construction process. To increase the representation of genomic fragments in the library, we also offer digestion with different enzymes and construct the libraries separately, followed by pooling. Commonly used vectors for gDNA library construction include pCC1BAC, pIndigoBAC5, and pBleoBAC11. Customer-provided vectors are also accepted.
