Library Construction by Restriction Enzyme Digestion

The high molecular weight genomic DNA, embedded in agarose beads, is digested with a restriction enzyme (HindIII/EcoRI/BamHI/Sau3A1 or ApoI). In order to increase the representation of the genomic fragments in the library, we also offer digesting the gDNA with different enzymes and creating the libraries separately followed pooling. Commonly used vectors include pCC1BAC, pIndigoBAC5 and pBleoBAC11. Customer provided vectors are also accepted.
